About
A lost pet poster in under two minutes
SeekAPet is a simple tool for one of the worst afternoons a pet owner can have: upload a photo, add the details, and download a poster that is ready to print and share in seconds.
Why it exists
When a pet goes missing, nobody has the head space to design anything. SeekAPet removes that step. You do not need design software or a template to fight with, just a photo of your pet and the facts.
It is for anyone whose pet is missing, and for the neighbor, family member or shelter volunteer helping with the search. The whole thing is built around one line from the home page: bring them home.
Three steps
The poster comes together in three steps, with a live preview updating as you go:
Four styles, Urgent, Modern, Warm and Bold, mean the poster can shout or stay calm depending on what you need.
- Upload a photo: JPG or PNG, clear and well-lit works best
- Pet details: name, type, markings, last seen, contact
- Choose a style: Urgent, Modern, Warm or Bold
What goes on the poster
The photo comes first because it does most of the work. As the upload step says, a clear, well-lit photo works best; it gives a stranger something to recognize at a glance. JPG and PNG are both accepted.
The details form covers what a finder actually needs: the pet's name and type (dog, cat, bird, rabbit or other), breed, color and markings, the location and date last seen, and a contact phone. Email, a reward and any additional information are optional, so you can add as much or as little as you have.
Print it, post it, share it
A poster on a lamppost and a post in a neighborhood group reach different people, so SeekAPet exports the same design in three formats: a print poster that is PDF-ready, a square 1:1 image for Instagram, and a 16:9 image for Facebook. Make it once, download whichever you need, and get it out there.
The live preview shows the finished poster as you type, so there is no guessing about how it will look before you download it.
